Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to CDG, operated by Codego Group. Codego is an electronic money institution with 11 branches across Europe and the Middle East. These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your purchase and use of CDG computing devices and services. By purchasing and using our devices, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with the terms outlined in this Agreement. Please read these terms carefully before making a purchase.

2. Annex to IBAN Payment Contract

These Terms and Conditions constitute an additional annex that is activated upon the purchase of the device, based on the IBAN payment contract.

3. Product Warranty

CDG offers a one-year warranty on all of its computing devices ("Devices"). This warranty covers defects or malfunctions caused by manufacturing defects, hardware failures, or internal component malfunctions.

● Exclusions:The warranty does not cover damages caused by external mechanical impacts, improper use, unauthorized modifications, or environmental factors.
● Mechanical Damage:In the event of mechanical damage caused by the user, the customer is responsible for a repair fee of €250.
● Warranty Claims:To submit a warranty claim, users must provide proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue.
4. Shipping Costs

All shipping costs related to the purchase, returns, and warranty claims are the responsibility of the user. CDG does not cover any shipping fees for these services.

5. Returns and Refunds

All sales are final. CDG does not offer returns or refunds for any reason, including but not limited to changes of mind, dissatisfaction, or other personal preferences.
● Damaged or Defective Devices: In the event that a device is found to be defective or damaged upon arrival, and such damage was not caused by the user, CDG will provide a replacement device of the same model or equivalent at no additional cost. The replacement will be issued upon receipt of the defective device and verification of the issue.
● Return Process: To initiate a replacement request, the user must provide proof of purchase and a detailed description of the defect or damage. All requests must be submitted within 30 days of receiving the device.

6. CDG Rewards Program

CDG provides a rewards program ("CDG Rewards") to users of its Devices. Through the CDG Rewards Program, users can earn CDG rewards based on the activity of their Devices.
● Reward Value: Each CDG reward has a guaranteed minimum value of 0.10 USD, and this value will never decrease. The price of CDG rewards can only increase over time.
● Liquidity and Usage: CDG is a program created by the Codego Group, designed to be implemented as a utility and payment system for banking services or partner banks. As a result, liquidity will always be available at any time.
● Payment Guarantee: Payments are guaranteed as long as the device is online and producing services.
● Instant Conversion: CDG rewards have no expiration and can be instantly converted into USDC at any time the user desires. Payments are processed daily.
● External Factors: CDG is not responsible for disruptions in the CDG ecosystem that are beyond our control and may affect the earning or usability of rewards.

7. IBAN Account Requirement

To participate in the CDG Rewards Program, users must have an active IBAN account linked through the official CDG app.
● Eligibility: An IBAN account from an external provider or not linked through the CDG app will not qualify for rewards.
● Closure: If the IBAN account is closed due to AML (Anti-Money Laundering) issues or for any other reason, the Device will no longer earn CDG rewards.
● Responsibility: CDG is not responsible for any losses resulting from the closure of a user’s IBAN account.

8. Ownership and Transfer

The ownership of CDG computing devices remains with the original purchaser and is strictly non-transferable. Devices may not be resold, transferred, or assigned to another person or entity. Any attempt to transfer ownership or resell the device will result in the immediate termination of the CDG Rewards Program and the invalidation of the device's warranty.

9. Usage & Compliance

Users are required to comply with all local laws and regulations when using CDG Devices and services.
● Prohibited Activities: Any unauthorized modifications, fraudulent activities, or misuse of the Device may result in the termination of rewards and/or services.
● CDG’s Rights: CDG reserves the right to investigate any suspected non-compliance and take appropriate action, including terminating rewards and services.

10. Privacy & Data Usage

At CDG, we respect your privacy and take all necessary steps to protect your personal data.
● Data Collection: By using a CDG Device, you consent to the collection of certain activity and performance data to ensure the proper functioning of the Device and the distribution of rewards.
● Data Sharing: CDG does not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except as required by law or for improving service functionality.

11. Force Majeure

CDG will not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, cyberattacks, market disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
● Suspension of Services: In the event of force majeure, CDG reserves the right to suspend or modify services as necessary without liability.

12. Liability Disclaimer

CDG will not be liable for any losses, damages, or disruptions caused by external factors, including but not limited to regulatory changes, market conditions, or technical failures in the CDG ecosystem.

13. Amendments to Terms & Conditions

CDG reserves the right to modify, update, or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, without seeking permission from the end user. Continued use of CDG devices after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
